CLB Instalation

Our club were invited to CLB's Installation on Sunday . It was held at a country club in Seberang Jaya that was called. Safira Country club.

Anyway 16 of us gathered in school at 2:30 and headed to our destination as soon as the bus came.

On the way there we dropped by Sunway Parade to fetch some Hua Lien mates!


To tell you the truth it was my first time there. Kinda nice place want to go there soon.The event was held at the Club's ballroom

And since we arrived early there wasn't anyone yet.


So we took this opportunity and took a group picture

After that I just walked around and took random pictures.

After a few performances dinner was served

The food was awesome . My ratings 8 out of 10 , Really tasty most of us went for 2 or more portions.
After dinner was finally the moment everyone has been waiting for. THE INSTALLATION!

BE 1 STEP AHEAD TO BE THE WINNER

Hey you guys out there. Chung Ling kias and Chung Ling Kias going to be!! Wandered what club you want to join next year? Well CHLS JUNIOR JAYCEES is the right choice for you! We supply many useful skills for example public speaking , debating, event management and so on! And For the new form 1 students! Even though its your first year! Don't worry! there are about 4 posts available for the newcomers! this means more GERKO marks! And Our marks are very good. Ask your fellow seniors and they will tell you taht too! If not satisfied, call your parents or anyone to find me! haha
For example, I am just a notice board director and out of the 60 marks available from the club, I got 54 and its only my first year too! Plus representing my school in the state levela and getting third in another competition, I got 82 out of 100. It seems not much but in Chung Ling it is and trust me it helps you getting into better classes alot!

Merdeka!

Our JAYCEES Club has been chosen to represent CLHS to this Merdeka ceremony held in SMK Georgetown. 30 members were present along with 150 more from SMK TARP Putra, SMK Batu Lanchang, SMK Air Itam and Georgetown.We sang patriotic songs and had a treasure hunt. It was quite meaningful as the 3 races were gathered together and we cooperated a lot in the treasure hunt game. After 12PM we walked back to our school

JCI Penang Meeting

There was a JCI Penang meeting at Masyarakat Penyayang .

Almost half of our board attended the meeting. This meeting was chaired by Mr Law

He was giving us tips on life and many other stuff.Anyway he also stated that there will be an apartment stay on the 23rd and 24th of August.Each school can send the maximum of 8 members. I doubt any of us form 3s will be attending as it is very near to our trials.

Annual Dinner

Our schools JAYCEES Club had our annual dinner last night. Our current board of directors arrived as early as 2:30PM to prepare for what was supposed to be an annual dinner for our seniors. UnionJJC were also invited.Alot of photos were taken but some how most of it was lost after my camera went into the pool.

I will just briefly say what happened. It was held at Red Rox Hotel. At about 5pm people started to come. The dinner was  declared open by our teacher advisor Puan H'ng and Puan Chong. Sorry pictures are unavailable as my camera lost of its pictures after it fell into the pool.  A wonderful buffet was prepared so after everyone was present the food was served. After dinner our seniors sang us some songs

All  her school mates came to support her after she finished her song!

After that our current president sang a few songs with us.

Look at our seniors are they enjoying it or hoping that our voices that caused sound pollution so stop.

After that people were starting to get dumped into the pool.

And for those that were afraid of the water they stayed away from the pool.

But eventually everyone went into the pool at least once at the end of the day

AGM

Our club CLHSJJC had its AGM this morning.

As I was sick so heres the most important picture

Well The past Board Of Directors were replaced by the new 09/09 B.O.D.s

After the AGM the new Board had a meeting.
Sorry for the little pictures as I was really to weak even to stand up.Our clubs aim is o get at least 200 members next year and with 16 of our form5 members gone we will need at least 60 new form1 members to join us. So I am hoping that our current members if your little brother is coming to Chung ling next year we hope that you can influence him to join us

AGM

There will be an AGM tomorrow(5-7-2008) from 10:30 to 12PM at 4SB3. All members are required to attend.

UnionJJC board members finally came. They were late because most of them had school activities

And in the end there were around 40++ people.

In the meeting we were giving comments and getting responses from the senior on our performance that day.So everyone stated what did they do wrong and what SHOULD they do to make it better next time. Everyone was given criticism from the seniors as there were many mistakes made by us . Although some of the criticisms were harsh but everyone accepted it and will do our best next time.

After that Shereen came

And at that time I already had to go home so didn't know what actually happened after that. Will find out soon.

Welcome To New CLHS JJC Website

I have currently opened a new website for the club. I will find a few members to help me with this site as I can never do it by myself.
